You've heard me say this before, but I don't like the word diet, nor do I believe in "diets" the way most people use the word. If you say, I try to eat a healthy diet, then to me, that is an apporpriate use of the word. Fad diets and diets generally don't work long term, but creating a healthier lifestyle and having a healthier way of eating does! We need to nourish our bodies for total health and wellness. We need to nourish our bodies nutritionally, physically, and emotionally. Take a self inventory. How are you doing in each of those areas? If not well, then why? Remember you are worth the effort.
