Sadly the United States allows way more chemicals and additives in our foods that are actually banned in other countries.  They have been linked to all sorts of health disorders and other countries recognize this, yet the US contines to allow them.  We need to do our own research and be our own advocates.  Below is the link for the article that goes with this graphic from bodyunburdened.com and a video from Dr. Livinggood (yes that's actually his name:) speaking on this subject.

Graphic below borrowed from a post on pinterest, but it gives a little overview of the importance of vitamin D. Notice that it says that 50- 90% of pepole are deficient!!  Vitamin D is responsible for regulating the immune system and the nervous system.  It helps boost the immune system especially during the cold and flu season when our exposure to the sun is minimal to none.  It helps regulate seratonin, improves chronic fatigue, anxiety, and depression.  It promotes bone health and helps protect against cancer and other diseases.  This is just to name SOME of the benefits!!
