You've heard me say this before, but I don't like the word diet, nor do I believe in "diets" the way most people use the word. If you say, I try to eat a healthy diet, then to me, that is an apporpriate use of the word. Fad diets and diets generally don't work long term, but creating a healthier lifestyle and having a healthier way of eating does!  We need to nourish our bodies for total health and wellness.  We need to nourish our bodies nutritionally, physically, and emotionally.  Take a self inventory.  How are you doing in each of those areas?  If not well, then why?  Remember you are worth the effort.  Your health is worth the investment!  Reach out to me if you need help getting started!

Spring is a time of new beginnings!  As the flowers and trees burst forth with new life, it brings with it a sense of excitement and hope.  Hope for what lies ahead!  Sometimes it is hard to look ahead with a sense of hope when you aren't feeling well or feel like you are stuck in a rut.  I believe health and wellness are about caring for yourself in a way that brings life: having energy, a positive mind set, having a healthy relationship with food, and feeling well so you can enjoy life and live it to the fullest.  Change can be hard, but oh so rewarding!  Take that first step to feeling your best!  Don't know where to start?  I'm here to help! Click the "about" section to check out the packages I offer, or we could create one just for you.  You can't put a price on good health.  Focus on your health before the focus shifts to your sickness!

Text or email me and I will send you all the details: 914-443-8902 jbsouthard12@gmail.com

Quick Overview: 10 days of eating whole, real foods - nothing processed. Limited dairy and gluten, only because these are both harder on the digestive system and for some people, they can be inflammatory. Plus they are processed. (Have your half and half in your coffee.  I'm not that cruel lol) No sugar, but lots of fresh fruits and veggies.  Drinking plenty of water, and taking a good probiotic to help build those good guys back up. No beer, but a glass of wine or 2 is ok(preferably low sugar), but if you can do 10 days without, even better.  It's only 10 days!!! You can do this!

Our bodies are actually really smart.  They will crave the nutrition that we need. But when we eat unhealthy, we will never feel fully satisfied because we aren't getting the nutrients we need to function at optimum health.  We get hungry more easily, and fill up on non nutritional foods again, and it becomes a vicious cycle.  I know what you're thinking:  well if I eat some celery and carrots, i'm not exactly feeling full!  And you are probably right!!  Although eating celery and carrots are good for you and are going to hold you over better than eating some cookies, you aren't necessarily going to feel full for an extended time.  That's because it isn't a "complete" meal or snack.  Add some guacamole or some nuts to make a snack that's more satisfying.  Need some help figuring out how to get on track with your food choices?  I've got you!
